Oliver Pocher — POCHER.Club Website Relaunch & Direct-to-Fan App
Oliver Pocher is one of Germany's most prominent entertainers. With the launch of the POCHER.Club app – a direct-to-fan platform offering exclusive shows, behind-the-scenes content and community access – the existing website needed a full relaunch to match the energy of the new product and convert visitors into app users from the very first screen.
Role and scope
- UI/UX design and visual direction
- Full Webflow development and custom code implementation
- Project management and coordination across stakeholders
- App launch support and landing page strategy
- Asset editing and preparation in Adobe Photoshop
Objectives
- Create a high-converting app landing page that drives installs from day one
- Communicate the value of free vs. Plus membership clearly and without friction
- Build a visual experience that matches Oliver Pocher's bold, energetic brand voice
- Deliver a fast, mobile-first site ready for a high-traffic launch moment
- Support the App Store listing with a coherent marketing and design language
Audience
Fans of Oliver Pocher across Germany – a broad demographic from casual social media followers to loyal long-term fans. They arrive with curiosity, decide fast, and need a reason to sign up in seconds. Trust, humor, and personality convert here more than feature lists.
Approach
The site was structured as a conversion funnel: a bold hero pushing the app download, followed by a format overview, a clear pricing and membership comparison, an FAQ, and a final strong CTA. Every section was designed to remove doubt and create urgency. The design language mirrors the app itself – dark, punchy, and personality-driven – so the transition from website to app feels seamless. The tight launch timeline required fast decisions, clean handoffs, and close collaboration with the team behind the app.
Design highlights
- Hero: Full-width visual with a direct call to action – "Jetzt Mitglied werden" – positioned above the fold on every device.
- Format showcase: Scrollable grid of exclusive show formats to demonstrate content depth and variety before asking for signup.
- Membership comparison: Free vs. Plus tier presented in a clean pricing block with expandable feature explanations, reducing signup hesitation.
- App section: Dedicated block with App Store and Google Play CTAs, screenshot preview and a concise value proposition.
- FAQ: Compact accordion section addressing the most common objections before the final CTA.
Visual language
- Type: Bold, high-contrast headlines that carry Pocher's direct tone. Clean sans-serif body for readability at any size.
- Color: Dark backgrounds with high-energy red and pink brand accents – energetic, recognizable, and consistent with the app.
- Imagery: High-quality editorial photos of Oliver Pocher, show artwork, and app screenshots for authenticity and social proof.
Interactions
Motion is used to guide attention, not distract from it. CTAs elevate on hover, sections load cleanly as they enter the viewport, and the pricing toggle between monthly and yearly plans responds instantly. On mobile, the experience is equally tight – tap targets are generous, scroll flows naturally, and the app CTAs are always within reach.
Accessibility and performance
- Mobile-first build, optimized for the primary traffic source (social media and Instagram link-in-bio).
- Images compressed and lazy-loaded for fast first-paint, even on mobile networks.
- Clear visual hierarchy and strong color contrast to ensure readability across devices and age groups.
Outcome
The site launched alongside the POCHER.Club app in early 2025 and immediately drove massive traffic and installs.
- #1 in the German App Store charts directly after launch
- Hundreds of thousands of clicks generated in the first days post-launch
- High conversion from website visitors to app registrations, driven by the clear funnel structure and compelling CTA placement
"The site had to be ready for a moment that could not be missed – and it delivered."
